MACHINING

Machining is the machining of metal or other hard materials by machining to obtain the desired shape and dimensions from a workpiece. This process is usually performed using operations such as turning, milling, drilling, drilling.

Turning is a process that enables a workpiece to be shaped according to the axis of rotation and brought to the desired dimensions. The turning machine rotates the workpiece, allowing the cutting tools to remove chips on the part. Parts processed in this way can usually be cylindrical or conical in shape.

Milling, on the other hand, is a method in which chip removal is performed by keeping the workpiece stable and by giving the cutting tools rotational movement to the part. The milling machine can create surfaces of various shapes, allowing the use of different cutting tools.

Drilling is a method used to drill holes in a workpiece. The drill machine performs the chip removal by applying pressure to the workpiece with a rotary drill bit.

Drilling is similar to drilling, but is used to drill larger diameter holes using a drill press. Machining methods are commonly used in machining metal or other hard materials. Parts machined by these methods can often have precise dimensions and surface finishes. Machining is an important production method used in automotive, defense, energy and many industrial sectors.
